Chinese Herbal Medicine + Soups

When did I start to study herbal Medicine?

What was the first plant, as I remember, to be recommended as a healing plant?

This plant grows even in the most challenging places as well. As a child, I loved to play with this flower and press out the oil with my fingers, then smell it to relax my mind.

I loved my grandparents a lot, and I also missed my parents when I was a really young child. So, not to be super sad and not to cry all the time, I had to find solutions.

Chamomile was my first solution.

How did my herbal medicine journey continue?

My mother had a lot of books about interesting subjects. One was about herbal medicine and pharmacy formulas. How to use different herbs, oils, and Chemicals to create medicine in a professional way.

That time, I was not able to read, so I was just watching the pictures and the river of the letters...

But I was sure, one day I would have a lot of knowledge about this topic.

During my primary school and gymnasium, I did my own research about herbs and exotic medicine treatments.

I also translated my uncle's Dermatology website, which had 30-40 different herbal plants and their benefits...

In 2017, I started to take online classes from Hungary regarding Naturopathy and Phytotherapy.

I also learned about Chinese Medicine as part of the education.

I continue to make my own blogs, IG profiles to promote these things...

On several different online educational websites, I took similar and related courses.

In this blog post, I would like to highlight only the Herbal Medicine, as the Chinese Medicine itself has a lot of ways...

Why herbals? As they can also be integrated into everyday life, even in cooking...

I really loved the idea when I studied Naturopathy and Chinese Medicine, that in China, there are special restaurants, kind of healing restaurants, where the chef has a high level of Chinese Medicine knowledge.

When the new customer arrives, they need to talk with the chef, answer questions, just like a medical doctor. Then the chef makes a special soup, designed for the person, for the situation exactly.

It is a healer's soup.

Is the healer soup just known in China?

Nope, some basic soups also exist in other countries as well.

For example, in Hungary, the chicken soup with vegetables is also promoted to bring good health.
